It’s a frontier out there, and we’re dedicated to exploring it. That begins with questions like: who is your target audience? What is your core message? What value does your organization provide? These are all things you can expect to be asked at a consultation with us.

We’ve found that the only true way to tackle a project is by exploring our boundaries and the territory we have to work with. We’re partners in this ride together. When we have this information, we are better able to develop your campaign more effectively.

Your brand is essential to who you are, but it’s so much more than just a logo. More and more these days, your brand is less who you say you are, and more who your customers think you are, so first and foremost you have to be willing to listen. Once we’re able to gauge your place in the market, we are better prepared to craft a truly unique and original story.

Our logo process always begins with a sketchbook, hashing out ideas and concepts that resonate with your core values and mission. Once we land on something that both of us like, we transition to tightening up our strongest ideas on the computer, developing the color palette and core visual identity.

One of our core services is traditional graphic design. This ranges in design for print, web, trade shows, and packaging. No matter the context, good design is a key element in visually communicating your message with impact.

We have a keen eye for taking your content and translating that content into a visual language. It’s no surprise that the consumer has less and less time these days to notice, let alone digest, your message, which is why unique and compelling design is critical to the success of your campaign. As well, with consumers accessing your content through a myriad of entry points these days, it’s important that your visual identity remain consistent across all media.

The web can be a scary place, but it doesn’t have to be. With so many requirements, from responsive to analytic algorithms, it’s important to work with an agency that knows the web inside and out. Our seasoned experts have the know-how to make sure your website gets seen by the people who need to see it. Add to the list that a climbing number of visitors are viewing website from mobile devices, it’s especially important to make sure your content looks sharp on any device.

Video can be a great way to tell your story to your customers. Studies show that consumers would prefer to be told a story, rather than read about it, and using video provides a perfect vehicle for that delivery in a content-consuming world.

Our video specialties include creative development, storyboarding, production and direction, editing, sound and music design. We are also one of the few agencies that are able to provide aerial cinematography to our clients. Our newest drone, the S900 from popular drone manufacture DJI, allows a takeoff weight of 18 pounds, meaning we can capture aerials in glorious 4K video with our new Panasonic GH4 camera. The Zenmuse Z15-GH4 (HD) 3-axis gimbal enables us capture amazingly stable images whilst independently controlling the pan, tilt and zoom of the camera, giving us more creative control of the shot.

So you’ve got your cool new product, campaign, or video. Now what? It’s critical to get that content in front of the people who need to see it most: your current and future customers. Facebook? YouTube? Ad placements? We’ve got the knowledge to advertise your message in the right place.

We also know from experience that brands are interacting with the customers more and more through social networking these days. It is important for you to be able to clearly reflect your brand’s “personality” through all of your social communications, whether it be Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or others. But taking your voice to the streets can be important as well, depending on your business. Our experience with trade show management and interactive exhibits give us an advantage in knowing how to craft an authentic real life experience for your customers.

“Measurement is the first step that leads to control and eventually to improvement. If you can’t measure something, you can’t understand it. If you can’t understand it, you can’t control it. If you can’t control it, you can’t improve it.” This quote from H. James Harrington serves as somewhat of a mantra for us.

Your ability to analyze data is critical to understanding your customer base and learning what speaks to them. Our process of measuring your website traffic can lead to enhancements in your content that increase visitor count and retention. The “follow-up” is often the most overlooked, yet critical, step that others miss, but we feel that measuring your efforts only contributes to your success.

“Fantastic art direction and design. Spur’s instinct is dead on and their ability to bring ideas from inception to completion are among the best I’ve encountered. I’d suggest Spur to anyone looking for an agency that meets deadlines and consistently exceeds expectations.”
