Rain Drops Layered Multiple Times to Create Sound of Rain
What does rain sound like? This is a question digital artist Yugo Nakamura set out to answer in his video “Amaoto no Yurai”, or “The Origin of the Sound of Rain”. He recreates the sound of a rainstorm by layering the sound of individual droplets of water hitting various items, such as dirt, leaves, and a snail, thousands of times. The result is quite stunning.
